to post nearly as much as I used to, but have been able to watch a good chunk of the games. That was the most satisfying win of the season if you ask me. Hopefully I can start posting on these threads more going forward.

I'm not a big fan of it personally, and I would normally assume there are other reasons why players/owners want this to go, but this is the NHL so... yup a 12 game sample size seems worth scrapping the idea.

for me was the same offer as last year. No change in ticket prices (which are dirt cheap) AND $600-700 (I have 6 seats) in CATS cash which is good for concessions and team store.

I didn't catch the question but Stepan collected his 40th point Saturday vs Colorado so I'm sure they gave a shoutout to Stepan and then asked "who was the last Ranger" .... eg before Stepan just did it...

My guess was Leetch, but that is incorrect.

And doing a bit of research, I think I'm right. I knew it wasn't Leetch because he had a few injury shortened seasons where he only played like 30-40 games, plus the strike-shortened 1995 season. Same thing for Graves. Messier didn't play seven consecutive seasons as a Ranger, and neither did Jagr. James Patrick tallied 40+ in every season from 1985 to 1992.

you did not exclude Stepan. I would not have clicked in my mind that he has 7 years played. I feel like his debut is so fresh in my mind.

I would have guessed Leetch too.

Vickers had nine straight seasons of 40+ from 1972 to 1981. Greschner topped 40 ten time but not consecutively. Don Maloney had six. I thought Tomas Sandstrom might have done it as well but he was only a Ranger for five and a half seasons, which surprised me. I also didn't realize how young he was when they traded him.

Time is definitely picking up speed as I get older.

Eleven straight 40+ seasons from 1966-77.

I feel like the Rangers telecast does a really crappy job of incorporating Rangers history in.

Absolutely no one is guessing that top 5. You might get one or two, but not all of them. And Michael Nylander is #5 all time in points per game and #3 in assists per game. The wonders of centering Jagr!
