how that worked out for Collins....hopefully, a lot of players can get on board with this attitude...
Bueller? Bueller? Flowers?
How amazing would it be if Flowers showed up at Bentley's Camp and came back next year 10 times the player he is now... we can dream, right?
Doesn't need to be 10 times better. 2 to 3 would be big. He's most likely a kid whose sheer size and strength has worked his whole life. Shows up in the NFL and it's not enough
Tyron Smith gave up like 3 or 4 sacks to OSI his first or 2nd year. Same situation. Super young when drafted. Doesn't mean Flowers ever gets rust good but the kid is now the same age when the vast majority of guys get picked.
Maybe he moves to G like Robert Gallery. But leaving this kid for dead is gettin a bit much. Half the people shitting on him pobably whereof are still living off their parents at 22. O
Maybe I haven't had enough coffee but are you suggesting that Flowers work on how he can hold better? Perhaps getting his hands inside a defender's shoulder pads instead of a clothesline maneuver?
I just hope that guy we just lost to S.F. wasn't the driving force behind all these nice picks...
VH looked good in the 3-4 Bucs games that I caught on TV. He struggled against big receivers at times (which is to be expected of a guy who is 5'10) but otherwise showed flashes of brilliance like Apple. It's definitely one of the better rookie classes in recent memory.
Flowers could take some pointers from Beckham when it comes

We would have better results if Vernon wore a Jordan Raanan mask. At least Flowers would get some push in practice.

Jackrabbit sez what?
Smooth is right. In that second clip, it almost looks like he's floating.

Martin Mayhew helped with "special projects" and managing the salary cap, so I doubt he was the driving force behind those picks.
