I appreciate the sentiment but I've been around BBI long enough to know the score. And it's easy to ignore or just accept it as good-natured ribbing.

Ever since 2001, my FD-NY-PD Yankees cap has been my cap of choice. My show of appreciation for the police and firemen who sacrificed their lives on 9/11.
As for the movie, it's been an odd journey, the people who see it genuinely like it, it won the top prize at the two minor festivals it played (one viewer said it was the best romantic comedy he'd seen in years), but it's not really built for theatrical distribution and it's been tough to get a sales agent on board. So it's put me in the position of salesman and sales is not my bag.
One way or another I'll get it out there even if it means self-distribution on some VOD platform like iTunes, but there is still hope for a bigger splash (Netflix, Amazon, etc).

My parents were in their mid-forties when I was born and I was the seventh child so it was a combination of older parents and running out of names they liked. My middle name is Mortimer. My husband and I went to go see a showing of The Princess Bride at the local cinema n drafthouse last night and it was awesome. Perfect VD activity without breaking the bank.
