McCaffrey and Everett or Njoku and Kamara

rathan : 2/15/2017 6:18 pm
Which TE/RB combo would you prefer, if available in the draft?
Kamara has been talked about as a first round player

Neither.

We aren't taking a TE before round 3.
GiantGolfer : 2/15/2017 7:03 pm : link
Reese just doesn't value the position that much.
Njoku. All Day

No brainer IMO

Kamara is not far behind McCaffrey and might actually be the better player/pro... And Njoku is waaaay better than Everett.
Njoku...and I'd prefer another choice in the second.

I do not want McCaffery and I do not think Njoku will be ther when we pick.
Njoku won't be there

and I don't think he's the TE Reese is looking for.

I like McCaffrey a lot. Versatility is what this offense lacks. That and creativity. McCaffery playing 60% of the snaps takes the opposing D out of the deep set cover 2 by occupying either a LB or the Free Safety or both if the FS has to move into the box to cover the area that the occupied LB would normally cover.

I agree with those that say he's a reach at 23 but he won't be there long after.

I'm a D guy but either McCaffery or one of the 3 QBs would be a smart start I think.
I don't believe we're taking a back that high
Torrag : 2/15/2017 8:22 pm : link
I have a duo of backs I like in Round 4. Marlon Mack and Samaje Perine. Very different backs between the 20's but as importantly will bring something to our redzone offense that's lacking...physicality and finishing ability.
Njoku 1st

2. Zay Jones WR
3. Donta Foreman RB

Zeitler in FA at RG. Hart at RT. Keep Flowers at LT one more year

With those additions the offense becomes dynamic
Another choice

I would take McCaffrey and Evan Engram over Everett. Beginning to love the possibility of McCaffrey in Giants blue.

Until he does take a TE in round one or two. Then that myth goes the way of the no rb in round 1 line parroted around here.

Giants won't ignore any position. They just value other positions more so but if that elite TE is sitting there and the other premium positions don't match the same value the Giants could take the TE.
Neither

I don't want another Perkins type back, and I don't want a TE early. Let Adams play.
I'm with you Sy and I like Kamara but my favorite is Foreman .

Hopefully he s the pick and Foreman is NFL ready would be
a nice compliment to Perkins who I am not so sure he can
take 250-300 carries ...
Its Too Bad we did a shitty job with the O-line time to get young strong and fast at the skill positions got little time left with Eli ...
I really feel as though
Beezer : 2/16/2017 8:50 am : link
a very good tight end would do wonders for this offense. If he's a passable blocker and a good receiver with some good size ... damn. Then if Vereen comes back? And stays healthy?
McCaffery for me,
barens : 2/16/2017 9:03 am : link
I don't see it with Kamara. I know he's ranked by many as a top 5 running back, but I'm not terribly impressed.
How do you spend a #1 on McCaffery
BillT : 2/16/2017 11:54 am : link
When we have major and greater needs at WR, DL (probably), OL and even TE. He's not even an every down back.
Not in the first two rounds
