Brandon Marshall 60% chance of being cut, so there's that too. Unless the Giants want to give up a conditional 7th to take him at his $7.5M number for next season and then he's off the books.
instead of RT, I would think you would want to see them sign Clady on a prove it type deal. Also taking into account that the draft looks better for OGs than OTs (from what I've been reading). Point being if they moved Flowers to RG and there isn't a decent OT prospect in the draft (at least where the Giants are picking), they better take some shots at multiple OTs in FA.
6 of his 9 NFL seasons, he's played and started a full 16 games. Including 2014 when he made the pro bowl. He played 9 in 2016. He's coming off a surgically repaired ACL (2015) and a surgically repaired torn rotator cuff (2016).
and we are going to have to take a chance(s) on one or two players that can be had below market value that may turn into an asset. The window is shrinking.
Marshall, man, a veteran head case who drops too many passes cause he's thinking about where he's eating dinner that night instead of catching the ball.
Only upside I see to spending what he'll want is he'll keep OBJ off the backpage at least 3 days a week and may actually live up to his potential in a pennant chase. If he realizes his commentator career would be much better with a nice new Super Bowl ring to show off, I think he has top 10 WR potential. Got to get him to focus.

Might be alone but I would love Marshall, assuming SS can play the slot and we can get him at less than 7.5. I think he would be a great compliment to OBJ on the field and as a veteran mentor
seems like a good guy but he missed half the season this past year, the entire season before that, and only played 2 games in 2013. No thanks on all accounts.
Oh yeah of course. I was talking more like a minimum, 8th or 9th guy (essentially what they did with Beatty last season).
