Tuesdays are known as "2 Piece Tuesdays." You must wear a 2 piece outfit consisting of a sports bra-type top and shorts. The top must fit like a sports bra to reveal the body from under the bust line and form-fitting shorts (not jazz pants rolled up, basketball shorts, cutoff sweats or colored tights under the shorts) worn to reveal your belly button. Failure to do so results in a $10 fine. |
Crazy read for something that exists nowadays
Remember, as important as you are to our organization, football is the name of the game. Fans would come to see the games whether or not we had cheerleaders. There are some great teams who do not have cheerleaders, such as the 2010 Champion Green Bay Packers. They are sold out every Sunday. Some teams who previously had cheerleaders do not now have them (Chicago Bears). Because of morality problems with their squads they decided cheerleaders were too much trouble to deal with. Cheerleaders enhance the game but the important thing is that people come to see football and will still come whether or not we have cheerleaders. |
Make a point to find out if a player is married. In most cases, he won't tell you! You can call the Raider office with questions as to marital status and I encourage you to do so. Again, he will not tell you he's married! |

It's supposed to be "Two for Tuesdays".
Kinda gives you an idea of how much they're being paid.
My big issue is that they deserve a fair wage. The NFL rakes in over nine billion dollars a year. I'm pretty sure they could find some spare change for cheerleader pay somewhere in their couch cushions.

It's is disgraceful how little these women get paid both in the NFL and NBA. But, they also make a decent amount of money in appearances. For those, I'm not sure if the teams sign off on everything, but the payments are coming from the customers, not the team.
I assume the dress code for Tuesday has something to do with either a practice or appearance or both.
Nothing beats Full Frontal Fridays.
I am shocked, I tell you.
That's not to say that they couldn't/shouldn't be paid more, but to remind everyone that they still have opportunities to make pretty good money.
There's a reason that so many girls show up for the auditions every year.

There is a line a thousand women long wanting this job. They clearly find the job, including its pay and benefits, desirable. We don't need a cheerleader minimum wage.

These women are entertainers. How they dress and how they act in public is part of their job.

wonder if they would be required to wear longer skirts like in catholic girls school if we had them?

Wednesdays and thong Thursdays are much better.

Oh yea?
How about Casual Sex Fridays?
Actually my administrative assistant did the booking for me - sorry I wasn't clearer on that. I remember her talking to someone at the team offices about it, but can't remember the particulars. I didn't handle the payment either - they sent my office the bill which was expensed. I would have signed the expense report but I can't remember the exact amount. Gun to my head I would have it around $3000 for around 10 girls, something like that. I realize that's not a ton of money - but considering the work (all they did was come out on stage and waive their pom-poms as winners came forward to accept awards/honors) it wasn't bad either. I presume they get different engagements like this around the year, so the money ought to add up a bit although it is clearly part-time work.
