Yup I saw one of his first games at the stadium last season, he ripped a double in the gap first time up and I swear you could see the smoke trails coming off the ball he hit it so hard
a young Manny Ramirez or Miguel Cabrera at the plate. Smart hitter who hits everything hard. Throwing a Harper or Machado into this core almost seems unfair, but we'll have the resources to do it when the time comes.
is not so much the distance there and that everything off his bat is coming off hard...it's that his swing seems so effortless. He has very good mechanics and seems to have a good eye. Those are two good indicators that he can continue success at the MLB level, although it is very hard to imagine him continuing anywhere near the pace he was on last year.
