Biggest snub in history of Heisman ....

Manny in CA : 2/17/2017 11:49 pm
In my mind is still San Diego State's Marshall Faulk; SDS was a 2nd or 3rd tier NCAA team that was 5-5-1 in 1992, so what did Marshall do ?

He was a one-man show leading the nation with 1603 yards. They gave Gino Torretta the trophy. As I recall, Torretta apologized to Faulk, right after the ceremony.
Manning was not snubbed

Woodson was an absolute beast on all 3 levels of the game. He was the best player in the nation that year.
yeah, the Faulk snub

was highway robbery...coming from a Miami fan at the time.
Manning didn't win because he never went undefeated...
Torrag : 2/18/2017 9:44 am : link

He was the best player. On the #1 team. He was a freshmen so they gave it to George Rogers. He was robbed.

Everything I've read about this.....of course....makes zero sense.

Bum Phillips rode Earl Campbell to a bunch of playoff appearances with the Oliers and George Rodgers was called "one of the best big things."

Phillips actually said that he can give the ball to Rodgers 30x times a game while he'd have a hard time getting LT in position to make plays.

Much like every single one of your posts....it makes no sense.
