NFT: Long time Knicks fans...

...help me either verify or dispel a memory I have watching Walt Frazier back around 1974.

I think it was a playoff game against the Bullets and Frazier either drove to the basket or was defending against a drive by (maybe) Phil Chenier.

Anyway, after the action stopped, Chenier sucker punched Frazier right in the face. It was quite a shot and stunned Walt Frazier, but elicited essentially zero reaction. It was a technical foul and Frazier went to the foul line.

That's all I remember.

Has 40 years and more totally blurred my view of a long-ago past event, or does anyone else remember such an event?
