Mid Round DE Trey Hendrickson, DE Florida Atlantic

I was not familiar with Hendrickson until the East West Shrine game. He established himself as a prospect by dominating the game and receiving the defensive player of the game honors.

Hendrickson has actually improved his draft status with excellent pre combine work outs

His present weight represents an increase of nine pounds from his Shrine weigh-in. I’m told Hendrickson arrived in St. Pete suffering from a stomach virus which caused a sudden loss of weight. The belief is that Hendrickson could easily add another 10 pounds and comfortably play at 275."

I have been researching Trey and his tape is impressive. He is a quick twitch athlete that turns the corner and has the flexibility to flatten out.
His weaknesses are that he needs more strength, and that he could do better against the run.
While Henrickson develops as a DE he can contribute on special teams. Hendrickson is a special teams demon. In 2016 he blocked a punt, two field goals , and an extra point.
