Would you trade down and pick him up at the bottom of Round 1. I think he can be a stalwart at the right guard spot for a long time. Move flowers to RT, and grab Whitworth and we're set.
Moved to LT the following year. Agree with Doomster. I think the original plan was for him to start at RT his rookie year. It's rare to see a LT starter as a rookie but Beatty got hurt so .....

All historical statistical evidence points to it being unlikely to succeed. How many LTs can you recall sucessfully starting in the NFL at that age.

to guard. He won't be any better on the right side than he was on the left. He's toast, teams will put their best pass rusher against him all day. His only hope is if he can play guard.
