Phins are also looking to trade for a starting CB. I like DRC but for the right price I would part with him. I just don't think the Phins have much too offer outside a draft pick.
Last season they traded for Kiko Alonzo and Maxwell from the Eagles. Prices was that they swap first round picks with the Eagles. Eagles got pick 8 (which they traded up to draft Wentz) and Phins got pick 13 (Tunsil). Phins pick 22 which is not worth trading DRC. Now a second round pick would be great. But they prob wont do that.
Just so you are consistent in your standards, I presume you think Pugh is shit also?
I'm not sure what 67 has to do with this thread, but I'll play anyway. Not a Pugh fan. Never was. But he is, currently, our best OL by default. I think he's in an advantage position in that he's going to cash in on a nice extension here knowing we cannot afford to lose him with the otherwise awful state of the OL.
You concluded that Albert is shit based on being injured too often. I asked if you would apply the same standard and conclusion.
Even though you didn't succinctly describe Pugh's abilities as you summarized Albert's, I agree with your summary regarding Pugh's career track. I have just seen so many on BBI who are quick to summarily dismiss other players then are quick to laud what is currently the best of the worst what we trot out for an OL.
salary last week. Had they cut him before that, they would have drastically reduced the dead cap money. You can say they're using him to get Albert, but Albert's due to be paid $8M for this season, and a chunk of money is going to accelerate on Thomas being traded. That's an ineffective use of available cap space to say the least.

injured too much would be my guess.
No they were going to, then teams became interested in signing him so they are trying to trade him instead.
Yes, increases the chance that Miami would take Robinson or Ramcyzk if they are there.

higher chance of Howard or Njoku lasting to our pick.

Miami is moving Tunsil to LT so I don't know if an OT is high on their list as opposed to a guard.
Exactly, lots of mocks with the fins taking Howard

They could play Robinson at LG
Who wants that playing OLT?

The Fish needs Guards, not Tackles.
