My wife and daughter have to catch up, still, with 34 episodes from the fall - and don't seem too concerned. My son and I watched the crappy NBA all-star game.
I'll catch up with this episode like I did the first. And ... blahhhh.
Recently, but I'll still watch. The Darryl and Carol scene I thought was good, but the ridiculous acting and implausible group dynamics in this world, like the Kingdom and this new group at the junkyard all wearing black like some weird cult is just dumb.

For some reason the junk yard group reminded me of the "mole men" from Battle for the Planet of the Apes.
The Junkyard Group had a "Mad Max" type of feel to them
TWD saying that it's a show that is for entertainment. Even though parts get dumb if your still entertained then it's doing its job.
Scratch all that. This show got so dumb. At one point when Rick was standing on that pile of garbage with those ladies I was like WTF is going on??? What has happened to this show. Brutal.
because that ridiculous garbage people were not in them. A ton of the filler is not in them. I feel like they are buying time, because they are pretty much almost caught up to the comic books, and have to stretch it out a bit.
detailing the stupid shit, but one thing I found particularly idiotic. The whole mantra of this Kraftwerk tribute band doing cosplay for the Lost Tribe from Thunderdome is "We take. We don't bother." This is the reasoning they offer for not trying to get all the loot from the boat. So what do they do? Send someone to a fortified community, break in, capture the guard, steal all the stuff, and bring it back. Good thing they don't bother!
I guess they were only following the graphic novels

The first part of the season they were too much on the comic and people didn't like it, ripping dialogue directly from it. I think their only problem is they are becoming too predictable.
then a normal every week 1 episode at a time watch. I started off binging and then got caught up. It probably would make the filler episodes better.
I agree, my rule of thumb is crappy shows are usually better to watch a bunch in a row since detail matters less and you can deal with bad episodes more easily.
for certain men. women and Carl have no problem accessing it.
haven't watched either of the latest shows, but I always found it hilarious that there is still died hair in an apocalyptic world. that some folk are nicely quaffed, and then there's Daryl. Rick pretends to be Daryl on occasion, but on other occasions, listens to Carl for hair care advice. In between he looks about furtively and lost or a bad impression of someone with a purpose, while leading more and more people to their death. Am I on track?

Kill Negan already? It's getting really old.
That cgi really was comically bad. If they can't make it look decent, just don't bother.

P.S. Rick needs a muhfuggin tetanus shot now...

I've been fine with the season so far, but last night was blah.

The trash people....A worthy addition
