I don't really care about what the so called experts are currently predicting because nothing they ever say about the giants comes true.

1st- Zach Cunningham OLB
2nd- Juju Smith-Schuster WR
3rd- Jake Butt TE
4th- Chad Wheeler LT
5th- Donnel Pumphrey RB
6th- Jayon Brown ILB
7th- Ashton Lampkin CB

I'm assuming the Giants re-sign JPP and sign a DT in the second batch of free agency.
Cunningham can be the dynamic LB we've needed for a while. He's a great tackler and can cover a tight end. He is also a big time hitter.
Juju would play on the outside pushing Shepard inside. A great talent. A great Athlete.
Butt was projected to be the top TE coming out of this class but this season lowered his stock to probably the third round. can be as dynamic as the rest of them with allowing the giants to take better players in the first 2 rounds.
Wheeler is a good blocker in both the run and pass game. He might not be an NFL LT but he is versatile enough to be moved to either RT or RG.
Pumphrey is very fast. I think he led the league in rushing this past season. Looking for him to take a Bradshaw role.
Brown is a tackling machine. He was the heart of the UCLA defense. big time leader in the locker room.
Lampkin as good ball skills. played for a big time school in OKST and played against NFL caliber receivers. Has a lot of potential for a 7th round grade.
Swap Cunningham for Tim Williams and i'll take it

I agree but i dont think Williams will make it to 23
I don't like Cunningham's game.

He needs to be protected and is a drag down tackler. Give me the Florida LB Davis over him in a heartbeat.
In what league was Pumphrey a lead?

look it up yourself if you don't believe me.
2133 rushing yards
Pumphrey and Butt are very solid picks IMO

The rest I don't like much at all. I figure Wheeler won't be there or a better player will. Your draft fills needs but kind of ignores the depth at the top of this draft and the depth through it. From everything I have heard thus far the early depth at corner and safety is huge. Also I think there are some good defensive linemen to be had in the first 4 rounds.

The way the Giants pick linebackers picking two is a death knell. They only seem to be able to identify pass rushers at linebacker (kiwanuka, torbor, Kennard, sintim).

What is the closest Reese has been to drafting a good LB... Kennard??? I'm with you, don't trust them when it comes to identifying good LB's, its like they don't care at all about the position anyways.
Kennard is a moderate success

And really he only plays 50% of the snaps and is utilized as a down linemen at times, so of that 50% some is spent not even playing linebacker.

The Giants seem to love 240-265 pound edge rushers at linebacker. Outside of that they have tried everything from 2 down slow thumpers to safeties and 220 pound hit and run free agents with little success.

At this point I'm almost wanting the Giants to just keep drafting what they are good at and ignoring what they suck at. There are worse things than having insane secondary talent with a bunch of pass rushers and athletes up front. Landon Collins hits harder, blitzes better, and covers better than any current Giants linebacker. Apple isn't that far behind when you compare him to the likes of Thomas and Shepard.
My version, a couple of similarities

With Harrison he is protected.
Yes, he would be protected

But I don't want a first round linebacker that is just a run and grab player. I like other LBs over him. Put Davis behind this DL and he will be better than Cunningham.

I do think Njoku is the target. He has Reese pick written all over him.
