Big win against those beltway skidmarks on Saturday. Gotta keep the roll going against the team that we will more than likely see in the first round. Not sure if any lineup changes yet but it's likely safe to say Henrik is in the cage and Clendo is in the press box.
Love beating these francophone fucks and their gremlin looking coach "Clode"
Let's fucking go
MTL has turned into a major shitshow. These are two teams going opposite directions.
Carey Price looks like the bad version of Marc Andre Fleury, the Canadiens have no consistent offense, they rely too heavily on 100-year old Markov who makes Dan Girardi look like Chris Pronger and they struggle to break the puck out - it seems like their breakout is to flip the puck out to center ice.
The Canadiens NEED a win big time, but I think they get steamrolled.
Sadly, it's not a talent thing I don't know what it is, system, chemistry, execution.
Canadiens best players right now are Pacioretty and Radulov. If the Canadiens don't get 8 points in the 5 games left before the deadline they should be sellers.
That's hard to do
That's hard to do
And they've done it TWICE now! heh
Nice work, beard. Fired up bright and early.
That's hard to do
Really not fair to MT. That guy is a HOFer in face-punchability. I dont think Julien is even close.
Your wish is my command
They actually have Caps fans in Richmond? Thought that fanbase if you will evaporates after NOVA.
Their fans, all two of them, are morons, and once again the Caps go through most of the regular season with like zero injuries. Unreal.
Lose and keep our sights on the favorable WC1 spot.
I can work with that.
Muntre-All 15
Rangers 0
bump

LOL, I have no clawed induced despair no matter what happens, I can't stand him as much as I couldn't stand Therrien, maybe even a little less and I can't stand AV the same amount too - they all sucked in MTL. AV worse than the other two.
I just don't want the Canadiens to make their prototypical desperation trade.
My only fear is they lose a couple more, move to the cusp of a playoff spot and panic.
sure throw in Kreider or Miller

#5. All you have to do is eat his salary and give us a couple prospects, Scherbek and McCarron. What say you?
sure throw in Kreider or Miller
Got any spare young defenseman lying around? That's worked out well for us in the past
Wonder why Hank is taking himself so far out of the play on those shots that are clearly wide? He did it earlier but was fortunate not to have been caught.

I really like Beaulieu. Not a McDonagh level prospect, but good skater big guy.
Mikhail Sergachev and Noah Juulsen are their best D prospects. Both played in the world juniors last month and did well. Tough to project 18 year olds but I see both as top 4 D-men.
You're a penguin fan. Fuck off.
Cause he's a cheap shot artist POS
He heard ya!
He must of heard you
Is one of them Kreider?

two cunts on that twat squad who would have done that and there's one of 'em!
Is one of them Kreider?
Haven't seen Kreider run into Lundqvist before.
Every objective viewer knows Emelin tripped up Kreider and outside of Vaginatown he hasn't garnered the reputation those two sloppy gashes have all over the league.
Obviously julien is one
Kreider has that reputation, whether you like it or not.
Maybe Kreider was never taught how to hockey stop - ( New Window )

Vigneault coached MTL and NYR.
OK bud. I think we're done here.
if he were active absolutely
Kreider has that reputation, whether you like it or not. Maybe Kreider was never taught how to hockey stop - ( New Window )
Some asshole? A liitle sensitive there PJ? Embarrassing that you can't accept it for what it truly was 3 years later but that's expected when you're loyal to that franchise. And if you can't admit to the kind of players Shaw and Gallagher are, then you're simply blind and disingenuous.
put the bottle down. Gallagher didn't try and injure anyone. and I never said Kreider tried to injure anyone, but he doesn't shy away from running into a goalie. The link I provided has multiple examples of Kreider running into goalies. Some are caused/helped by others, some are not.
Just an example for the holier than thou Rangers fans that this is hockey, it happens, every team has players that have an edge to them. Kreider is one. Gallagher is one.
Maybe you should put the bottle down before you go throwing around accusations.

LOL, I'm not being sensitive I know you meant twat squad in the friendliest way possible. Like I meant asshole.
I have to run, I have my own game at 10.
I hope the Canadiens keep it close and the refs decide the game with a borderline call so the Rangers fans can do their usual complain about the refs routine.
Maybe you should put the bottle down before you go throwing around accusations.
I have no idea what this conversation is about then. LOL. Seriously. have a good night.

DET and MTL
Derp...fail. I missed the active stipulation.
Hey PGA - welcome -
aren't you busy with Detroit, though? By the way - awesome video of tarasenko you posted today!

I was thinking the same thing.
Muntre-All 15
Rangers 0
Called it!
This game is on that stain Hudson or Rover or golden shower. Whatever his handle is these days. Polluting our thread with his disgusting mental defective horseshit.
Ha, I missed OT and the shootout, which is fine with me, but I'll take the point. Well played game. Great goaltending on both sides. MTL needed the point the Rangers didn't so it worked out for both teams.
OTT is heating up and the Panthers are red hot since getting healthy. Should be an interesting deadline and last 6 weeks.
PP is broken, and Arniel, or whoever it is who is responsible, should be removed from that assignment:
- coming out of their own end is painful and time wasting
- do not come across the blue line cleanly
- now resorting to dump and chase, on the PP
Most importantly, to my mind, they are way too compressed: instead of opening up the ice and space for passes and room to maneuver, they are drawing in together, makes it so much easier to the PK to defend. Too little cross ice switch of play and shoot, quickly
The passes down low to ~ the goal line are not working: no angle, not creating any movement by defenders
End of rant:
Vesey, very good two-way play last night; McD, as noted above, two great break out passes to Nash, too bad he pussyfooted the first. Kreider, mediocre game and that entire line has cooled off dramatically
Fast and Oscar looking good, Buch still looking a little lost and a step and pass slow. Skjel keeps coming on, adequate and often better in d end and likes the rush
I hate it because it seems like that's usually a defenseman and the other skaters are all stopped at the blue line with no momentum for a forecheck.
Makes PP zone entry harder, yet everyone is now doing it.
I think it also makes teams vulnerable to the trailer having their pocket picked and giving up short-handed chances.
as a PK team, you gotta love it, just wastes more time and allows set-up, but in my mind, just to repeat myself, yuck, their set-up in the offensive end is premised to fail, and the numbers bear this out.
Greg, please send note to AV and Gort, I'll be happy to co-sign.
Stepan actually won a couple of face offs last night, hurray, and he's trying, grinding, 1st period seemed as if Habs won nearly every one. Who coaches taking the draw?
