Big win against those beltway skidmarks on Saturday. Gotta keep the roll going against the team that we will more than likely see in the first round. Not sure if any lineup changes yet but it's likely safe to say Henrik is in the cage and Clendo is in the press box.
Love beating these francophone fucks and their gremlin looking coach "Clode"
Let's fucking go
This game is on that stain Hudson or Rover or golden shower. Whatever his handle is these days. Polluting our thread with his disgusting mental defective horseshit.
Ha, I missed OT and the shootout, which is fine with me, but I'll take the point. Well played game. Great goaltending on both sides. MTL needed the point the Rangers didn't so it worked out for both teams.
OTT is heating up and the Panthers are red hot since getting healthy. Should be an interesting deadline and last 6 weeks.
PP is broken, and Arniel, or whoever it is who is responsible, should be removed from that assignment:
- coming out of their own end is painful and time wasting
- do not come across the blue line cleanly
- now resorting to dump and chase, on the PP
Most importantly, to my mind, they are way too compressed: instead of opening up the ice and space for passes and room to maneuver, they are drawing in together, makes it so much easier to the PK to defend. Too little cross ice switch of play and shoot, quickly
The passes down low to ~ the goal line are not working: no angle, not creating any movement by defenders
End of rant:
Vesey, very good two-way play last night; McD, as noted above, two great break out passes to Nash, too bad he pussyfooted the first. Kreider, mediocre game and that entire line has cooled off dramatically
Fast and Oscar looking good, Buch still looking a little lost and a step and pass slow. Skjel keeps coming on, adequate and often better in d end and likes the rush
I hate it because it seems like that's usually a defenseman and the other skaters are all stopped at the blue line with no momentum for a forecheck.
Makes PP zone entry harder, yet everyone is now doing it.
I think it also makes teams vulnerable to the trailer having their pocket picked and giving up short-handed chances.
as a PK team, you gotta love it, just wastes more time and allows set-up, but in my mind, just to repeat myself, yuck, their set-up in the offensive end is premised to fail, and the numbers bear this out.
Greg, please send note to AV and Gort, I'll be happy to co-sign.
Stepan actually won a couple of face offs last night, hurray, and he's trying, grinding, 1st period seemed as if Habs won nearly every one. Who coaches taking the draw?
