Impact of Jags TE Julian Thomas to Miami

Is Captain Tom lining up his bank account for run at JPP?
I had Tennessee, Denver and Miami as other teams that may look TE in round 1. Miami is just ahead of Giants, so chanes of OJ Howard or David Njoku being available at 23 is more apparent. If JPP flies to Jacksonville, Giants concerns shift to Edge. Would love if Barnett falls this far.

He played on the right side. Charlton would make more sense. But I still would probably take Howard or Njoku before them.

The Jags traded for Albert who has almost an identical salary to Thomas. They just didn't want him anymore. They'd rather have a 7th round pick than Thomas.

Had to move the Tight End in order to make a run at JPP.. sounds logical.

The Jags were already sitting on a wad of cash and could easily outbid the Giants for JPP's services

Nothing to do with JPP (they can already afford him and several other big ticket guys).

that if JPP gets to free agency, he is gone. Too many teams with more money. Someone will overpay.

career was mangled by the Jaguars. When he was young, there was a great player to be developed. As for Thomas, he basically stinks . Coughlin must be enjoying this aspect to his new job. JPP is going to the highest bidder.
