Final details on what OKC sends are being sorted, but Taj Gibson & Doug McDermott are about to become members of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

I think it's the opposite. He hasn't had a good point guard to faciliate an offense and so he has had an unnecessary burden upon himself to carry the offense.

The best PG he had was two weeks of Linsanity. Other than that it was a year of drive-only, no-defense Rose, Toney Douglas, Fat Baron Davis, 40 year-old Kidd, Fat Ray Felton, 36 year-old Prigioni, 30-something Calderon, rookie Iman Shumpert, Shane Larkin, Tim Hardaway Jr., rookie Jerian Grant, and I'm sure I'm forgetting others.

Who on that list was Melo holding back?

The problem is that every PG's numbers always decrease with melo on the team. Going back to his days in Denv.er I believe only 1 year did a PG exceded his career assist totals with Melo on the team, and that was andre miller.

Melo needs the ball to score. He isolates guy and use to either kill them with the jumper, take them of the dribble, or pull up. No matter the case, the ball usually stopped with him.

Love the "Fat". I think "Fat" Lever of the nuggets today is better than some of those guys. He has to be late 50's.

Knicks had a backcourt of Toney Douglas and Landry Fields. Doesn't get much worse than that.

Ray Felton averaged 9 assists a game in 2011. Chauncey Billups played very well with Melo in Denver and NY.

Felton was part of the trade to get Melo to the Knicks. he never played with him. Billups numbers took a hit from his Detroit days as well.

You're right. But I was referring to the year where Felton averaged 9 assists per game for the Knicks. Melo wasnt on that team yet.

Minnespta is leaking the other information to pressure Phil into accepting their deal but it hasn't worked. Minnesota is offering up Rubio and Shazz to anybody that will take them. Nobody wants that except us. This deal will get done. It would be dumb not to and it sounds as if Minnesota will give Phil what he wants once we get close to that deadline.

I dont want to sound like Kramer, but this is my idea for them. Play Simmons at the 4, but the 1-2-3 should all be defenders/shooters. Your 1 could be a PG without PG skills. But importantly, dont end up with a 2nd non-shooter.
