Some interesting game tape on Henderson. Wins in a lot of the same ways as OBJ. Breakaway speed, high-pointing the football, ridiculous lateral agility in the open field.
This wouldn't be the first time the Giants saw something that other teams are missing. Right now he's moving up draft boards fast, but after his Combine, I expect Henderson to go in Round 1. Don't be shocked if the Giants can't pass up on his value at 23.
8 ways Carlos Henderson should remind Giants fans of OBJ - (

Will be curious to see how Henderson matches up on the timed, athletic measurables as well.
I like the kid, but let's see how he goes in the rest of the pre draft process.
Who knows he could be great or a bust. Certainly poses a lot more risk than OBJ did.
Every day someone on this board finds a way to astound me with their stupidity....

We have one of those already.

He gives average a bad name
Actually I never watched OBJ's tapes until after the draft. Then I was impressed. But I think our slot receiver, Shepard will be very good also.
But Beckham as a prospect far exceeded hands, ball skills, route running, lateral burst.
And Beckham did it in the SEC for multiple years.
That might be the dumbest thing anyone has said, ever. Congratulations.

Having said that, it's my opinion that upgrading WR is one of the least important fixes for this offense. Yes, an upgrade will improve results, as any upgrade would. But last year the WR's were not the problem, as opposing defenses demonstrated. They routinely played two-deep against our 11 personnel, leaving only 6 men in the box. Switching Cruz out for a better receiver won't change that.
We need to make sure we can beat the 6-in-the-box looks consistently so we can force the safeties into the box. This means upgrading OL, RB, and TE.
Odell finds a way to make the catch and adjust to the ball very well. Henderson hasn't displayed the hands of odell, at least that i have seen. In the games i watched i saw him not catch a ball throw behind him, drop a pass that hit him in the chest, and fail to track a long ball and also to have that extra burst at the end to accelerate under the ball. All hard things to do, (well except the ball that hit him in the chest) but these are plays that Odell makes and why he is so great.
this is one of the dumbest pieces of shit posts i've ever read in my life
that's what I get for not reading the whole thread.
