Kurt Warner is such an Eli hater
He recently said; and I'm paraphrasing
It's not your numbers it's how you've changed the game !
Warner "Eli is not a HOFer!"
How did Kurt Warner change the game?
Surrounded by HOFers or future HOFers.
He appears to be so bitter that Eli has better numbers than him.
It's funny
He was a good QB for a few seasons, but the guy is just totally heralded out of proportion to his actual production. If Sims isn't in the Hall, Warner shouldn't even be in consideration.
Don't like the guy at all
my theory is I think he took his crucifix and put this in its place.
I'd like to see a link to the quote and see if this is something new or just an article rehashing an old discussion.
We ruined Warner. The day John St. Clair became a household name. 1 of the most gut-wrenching regular season losses ever - 14-15 to Warner's Greatest Show on Turf, @ St. Louis. (Dayne/Jurevicius/Archuleta/Kukar). The beating Michael Strahan put on Warner that day was the beginning of the end. To me that is the best performance I have ever seen by a defensive lineman in a game. 4 sacks and he probably smacked Warner at least 10 other times. Then Warner was avoiding Strahan and started taking shots from other Giants as well. Madman Martz just refused to help his OLine.
Then they flew to Giants Stadium for the season opener a couple years later and we crushed them. William Joseph with the Safety in his 1st game. For 1 week it looked like he'd be as advertised.
Sure Kurt rebounded with some late career accomplishments, but we really botched his prime years.
I m a. It can of Eli s. But I m not totally convinced he is a HOF.
Warner lost his job when the team was still in contention to a rookie who wasn't t ready. He s a competitor, he s prob still pissed off.

Let's get the story straight here. Warner lost his job to a rookie because he was fucking terrible. Plain and simple. He needs to face the facts and blow the sand out of his vag already. Christ, it must be a pearl by now.
Also, if you're not convinced that Eli's a HOF'er, get better glasses.
16 games - 3 times
15 games - 1 time
14 - 0
13 - 0
12 - 0
11 games - 2 times
10 games - 1 time
9 games - 1 time
And then he also had years of 6, 5, and 1 start.
He ended his career with a 67-49 record.
I don't see how they see this as a full enough career to warrant the HOF.
What he says...??? Well, he is Paid to talk---- if he's said that Eli is NOT HOF...well, that's apart from his own career.
Face it--- Eli has gathered big numbers as an accumulator, and his HOF Cred is very much basd on amazing performance in short intervals---even shorter than Kurt's.
All in, I think Eli merits the HOF cut---he's tough to argue against.
