Kurt Warner is such an Eli hater

He recently said; and I'm paraphrasing
It's not your numbers it's how you've changed the game !

Warner "Eli is not a HOFer!"

How did Kurt Warner change the game?
Surrounded by HOFers or future HOFers.

He appears to be so bitter that Eli has better numbers than him.
It's funny
Eli Manning doesn't have to answer to Kurt Warner

Two-time Super Bowl MVP. 7th all time in TD passes. 171 consecutive games played. Nuff said...
Kurt Warner is among the most overrated players in NFL history

He won a super bowl and has ridden that to credibility and now the HOF. But, he's really so bitter about Eli, you'd think he'd try to make amends at this point in his life. It's really pathetic.

He was a good QB for a few seasons, but the guy is just totally heralded out of proportion to his actual production. If Sims isn't in the Hall, Warner shouldn't even be in consideration.
He must really think Elis Super Bowls should be his or something

He's clearly very jealous and in his mind thinks he's bettet then Eli or something idk

Don't like the guy at all
eli had to have played a prank on him

and he took it the wrong way.

my theory is I think he took his crucifix and put this in its place.

Was this recent? I may be wrong but it sounds a lot like an old quote
steve in ky : 2/24/2017 10:07 pm : link
of about five years ago and I believe he also went on to say "Yet". Basically when asked he said Eli was not a HOF fame at that moment just yet.

I'd like to see a link to the quote and see if this is something new or just an article rehashing an old discussion.
After this season

Eli should sit at 6th in yards and TDs. Enough said with two Superbowls and two SB MVPs.
I have doubts about whether Warner is a HOFamer myself?
Giants86 : 2/25/2017 9:31 am : link
Warner played great for a few years and thats it. He needs to keep his mouth shut. Eli will make it based on the 2 SB wins and he will have top 5-10 numbers by the time its all said and done. ELI has never missed a game either.
i wonder if it's Eli
area junc : 2/25/2017 10:28 am : link
or the Giants in general?
We ruined Warner. The day John St. Clair became a household name. 1 of the most gut-wrenching regular season losses ever - 14-15 to Warner's Greatest Show on Turf, @ St. Louis. (Dayne/Jurevicius/Archuleta/Kukar). The beating Michael Strahan put on Warner that day was the beginning of the end. To me that is the best performance I have ever seen by a defensive lineman in a game. 4 sacks and he probably smacked Warner at least 10 other times. Then Warner was avoiding Strahan and started taking shots from other Giants as well. Madman Martz just refused to help his OLine.
Then they flew to Giants Stadium for the season opener a couple years later and we crushed them. William Joseph with the Safety in his 1st game. For 1 week it looked like he'd be as advertised.

Sure Kurt rebounded with some late career accomplishments, but we really botched his prime years.
I love Eli but warner was better.
Gmen1982 : 2/25/2017 10:47 am : link
He is very bitter towards him though. I could see it since he was benched for Eli.
Warner came from stocking shelves in a supermarket
joeinpa : 2/25/2017 11:40 am : link
And the Arena League to make the Hall Of Fame. He has a chip on his shoulder and used it to his advantage.

I m a. It can of Eli s. But I m not totally convinced he is a HOF.

Warner lost his job when the team was still in contention to a rookie who wasn't t ready. He s a competitor, he s prob still pissed off.

Let's get the story straight here. Warner lost his job to a rookie because he was fucking terrible. Plain and simple. He needs to face the facts and blow the sand out of his vag already. Christ, it must be a pearl by now.

Also, if you're not convinced that Eli's a HOF'er, get better glasses.
Warner started 116 games out of a possible 176 games
adamg : 2/26/2017 6:29 am : link
His games per season break down as a starter goes as follows:

16 games - 3 times
15 games - 1 time
14 - 0
13 - 0
12 - 0
11 games - 2 times
10 games - 1 time
9 games - 1 time

And then he also had years of 6, 5, and 1 start.

He ended his career with a 67-49 record.

I don't see how they see this as a full enough career to warrant the HOF.
What He Did versus What he's Said
Rafflee : 2/27/2017 7:55 am : link
Warner had a couple of "Sandy Koufax Intervals", most especially with The Greatest Show on Turf--- he was an amazing player se times....about as good as it gets for a meaningful handful of Seasons. He's worthy of HOF, in my opinion.

What he says...??? Well, he is Paid to talk---- if he's said that Eli is NOT HOF...well, that's apart from his own career.

Face it--- Eli has gathered big numbers as an accumulator, and his HOF Cred is very much basd on amazing performance in short intervals---even shorter than Kurt's.

All in, I think Eli merits the HOF cut---he's tough to argue against.

Eli is more deserving than Warner
