Marlon Mack - RB - USF

This guy is going to be a late round gem. All time USF leader in rushing. Unreal burst from 0-60. And I mean unreal. He is at full speed in two strides. Ran a 4.5 at the Combine but plays much faster than that.

Good hands. Great vision and rarely, if ever, gets caught from behind. A real home run hitter. Does have a fumbling issue but I think it can be corrected with some coaching in the high and tight dept.

RB has been devalued to the extent where I would not sign a vet when I can get an RB in the draft on the cheap. I'd spend a 4th or 5th on this kid.

Really looks the part. Perkins, Mack, Darkwa and a short yardage guy like L. Blount/James Conner and we could have a nice, cost controlled backfield.

Check the tape.

I thought he had a very good combine. He was one of the backs that really impressed me besides the big name backs at the combine.

He's likely to be gone before Round 3 is over...

but also suspect NYG will look for a bigger back in the draft. Connor, Hunt, Foreman all very intriguing.

Mack is not a powerful back but he does have great explosion. I think as someone else noted here, he will go before the end of the 3rd round. I would not be surprised if Mack is one of the best rookies in this entire class. Giants have many needs but they wouldn't go wrong with picking this player in the 3rd round.

Mack seems a little spindly. I think there are better values in the draft.
