I am tired of reading about Hank, OL and running backs!
Lets think about our potential secondary for next season.
Collins, Apple, Thompson, DRC and Jackrabbit.
This should be fun to watch and I believe they could take away the headlines from Seattle for years to come.
Couldn't agree more. It seems like at any given time in the season, one or more are out. I have no problem drafting for depth.
Really deep draft for corners. I'd be fine with not taking a safety - we really only need 4 and already have Collins, DT, Adams, Berhe, Pinkins, Moore, etc. After our top 3 corners, however, we have no one else signed, and all the guys we could potentially bring back (Wade, Sensabaugh, Hall) are replaceable. Give our needs elsewhere, I'd rather wait until day 3, but think there are some really good corners who could be had in Rounds 4 or 5 (guys that would normally be selected in rounds 2 or 3).
DRC will be another year older, and his successor has to be drafted.....
And we need depth, to keep guys like Hall, Wade , and Sensabaug off the field...
We also need a linebacker, especially, if Robinson is gone...
We just need to re-sign Hankins or sign an "equivalent" type that can stuff the run completely at the DL level and still get to the QB from the outside.
We could use a LB that is an upgrade over Casillas and can blitz better.
We have some solid groups here despite the OL and DL shenanigans. Good thread.
To be fair to Darian, he hasn't missed multiple years. He got stepped on in Week 1 and got a lisfranc injury that kept him out for the year.
