Walter Football Draft Is a Joke

Suburbanites : 3/15/2017 11:22 am
Old Eagles fan Walter has the Giants taken a RB in the second and third round. At least he's stopped with the Deshaun Watson in the first round nonsense. Whatever, it's all BS but fun anyway.

I don't even pay attention to mocks until free agency

Is done. I might start looking two weeks before the draft.
I wonder if Flava Flav

will come up with some updated lyrics then

Period.
That's just an error, plain and simple.

The comments under the selections of Mack and Hill in rounds 2 and 3 make it pretty clear that they goofed. Hey, it happens. Try doing a 4-round mock for all 32 teams and see how hard it is to make sure you maintain logic within each team's selections.

Ironically a bunch of players taken right after Hill in Round 3 would make perfect sense for the Giants: Tomlinson, Vanderdoes, Walker, maybe Jones, etc. For that matter, so would a lot of the picks right after Mack in Round 2. A correction at either #55 or #87 could come pretty quickly.
Charlie Campbell's separate mock on WF might be more popular.

023. OT C.Robinson (prev. TE D.Njoku, who now goes to JAX at #35)
055. RB D.Foreman
087. DL N.Jones
140. QB B.Kaaya

That Walter Football mock isn't very smart.

Given the way the Giants draft, I could see them going for Njoku and then an RB, though BBI would be losing its mind if things fell that way. But with their row system, where need breaks the tie among prospects with the same rating, it is highly unlikely they'd draft RBs back-to-back in the second and third rounds. They have Perkins, and once they have drafted a RB in the second, they don't have need for a RB in the third.

In order for them to take back-to-back RBs in the second and third rounds, the guy in the third round would have to be clearly BPA -- that is, alone on a higher row than anybody else. That scenario strikes me as highly unlikely.
Never gave two freaks

about Walter Football, but thanks for more reason to not change my mind.
