Amba Etta Tawo: Ultimate sleeper?

dg901 : 3/15/2017 2:08 pm
Set SU record eclipsing Marvin Harrison. Sub-4.50 speed with good hands and tough after the catch. Appears worth a shot rd4...on.
I love him in the late rounds.

he is not getting much love, but as a 6 or 7 rounder I would take him in a heart beat!
he seems intriguing

But I have read this:

"Had about a zillion drops at the Senior Bowl and looked out of his element."

yes....but part of this was due to the fact he had a dislocated finger. I like him alot....he has a big catch radius...and is sneaky fast. Has a long way to go...but he has size and I think could develop. Seems like a late bloomer...as he didn't do much at Maryland prior to transferring to cuse.
Watched him all season

and he has game. The draft is heavy with solid WRs for a change so he should fall. Snagging him late in the 6th or 7th would pay big dividends down the road.

He was making some unbelievable catches during the season and rarely dropped anything. I wouldn't worry about the Senior Bowl.
He ran well & then not-so-well

at the combine . His 40 time at their Pro Day will help shape his grade far more than Senior Bowl practice week. The most important history is the most recent history. His recent history looks excellent, even when you downgrade the numbers for Speed Ball inflation.

But that's the thing. They threw so many passes at him that Reese & Co will have a chance to evaluate him in every type of catch possible. Dungy throws a ball that is similar to Eli's. This guy makes excellent adjustments . He doesn't get discombobulated if the ball forces him to change direction or shield. Diamond in the rough. Times at 4.6 or higher -7th Round but if he's around the 4.45 that he ran first time, he will go earlier, maybe 5. Like him.
