he matches up great against the Cole Beasley's of the world. And I also like him at WR, you could look at it this way he could be a WR 4 and CB 4 upgrade in one!
I would be very happy with Jackson in the second if he makes it Â
I think he's a bit underrated at this point. I always hear from his detractors how he was burned by John Ross this past season. Well we see what Ross can do. You can't afford a missed HALF step when someone has speed like that. But he also had 2 INT's in that game. He has natural ball skills and great recovery speed. Plus in the NFL he will have 100% focus on football unlike USC where he also had track. His ability to play corner plus his skills as a returner would be a welcomed addition to any team.
He was also burned BADLY repeatedly by Will Fuller Â
He's probably not good enough at CB to excel there in the NFL, but he's got All-Pro potential as a returner. So he could end up being a bit like David Wilson was with the Giants -- fantastic at special teams, not ready to be a regular as a position player. The question is: What's a guy like that worth?
Will be a slot corner and great return man in the NFL. With smart, innovative coaches he will play some offense as he is like OBJ with the ball in his hands. Real good kid also.
Adoree’ Jackson is an impact player no matter where you line him and should firmly be in the first round conversation at cornerback. Ideally, he would be taller and thicker (5-foot-10, 186 pounds) but even if he plays as an inside slot corner, when that is combined with what he offers as a return man, you have a valuable player.

Is this Tom Coughlin? David Wilson not ready to be a regular as a position player? Aside from his early rookie fumble and the subsequent time he spent in the dog house, he was the most talented RB the Giants have had in a long time. Spinal stenosis ended his career, but I wish we could get a guy who wasnt ready to be a regular player like him.

We agree about this. Wilson's fumbling was overrated because he did it on national TV, but in fact he didn't fumble much at all when you looked at his whole season. He seemed ready to become an impact player on offense, but he was very young and still learning things like pass blocking/blitz pickups. In the meantime he was killing it on specials. If he'd not had the neck problem, I think he would have been a fan favorite and a major weapon.
I agree, I don't think we'll take him, but he would be an interesting guy in the secondary here.
I'd be surprised to see a team take a slot corner in 1. I see him as an early second pick. Who knows.
And as a kick/punt returner, he could definitely be an immediate impact player.
