I do see your point regarding another sub 6 wide receiver. I think ODB - Marshall - Shepherd will see most snaps anyways with Lewis Jr and Harris backing them up. I think the late Rd value would be more for depth and special teams.
I don't think you pay Ellison that money to just block and they took Adams last year in the draft. With Tye I could see another committee approach by Reese. What do I know maybe they take Njoku though or another TE on day 2

Very possibly with regards to another TE. Paid Ellison good money and they spent most of their time on offense last year in 3WR - 1TE - 1RB formation. I could see them going TE in round 3 and maybe waiting on a CB until early day 3
prioritized the TE position in many years, what makes people so certain that the Giants are going into the draft desperately seeking a TE?
They might take one if things fall that way, but I doubt they'd force a pick at that position, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they don't pick one.
I don't see anyway Awuzie lasts until Round 3. In fact, come April I expect he will be a Day 1 pick.

Haven't seen him rated as a first rounder...
But want nothing to do with ramzyc, in the first Rd. One year of major college ball, hurt. Bad draft for a LT. Rather get a oline in 2nd or 3 Rd.
The talent pool in this draft for TEs is probably the best ever....Which should make it a value pick somewhere in the draft.......That is all.
Besides, with these 3 wrs starting..,.A TE that can run up the seam...,..Will cause nightmares for defensive coordinators.
Reese? Who knows. We have 4 TE on the roster with Ellison also the FB.
I would love Njoku in round 1 or Engram round 2, maybe Butt or Legget in round 3.
Stays with the Giants' preference for spending 2 of their top 3 picks on DL, DB or WR. The DE pick would could likely be an OL given needs/availability that late in the draft. I also think TE isn't a huge priority but that's an option there as well.
If not, a stupid wasted pick for 2017.

Yup. Early second at the latest.

Agree, love the mock. Hope it comes to fruition.
1. OL
2. DT
Mine day before yesterdat started as
1.Lamp (as OG)
2. Montavious Adams
after that I think it was
3. TE
warming up to better bigger guards and big 2TE sets to help set the edges and resurrect the outside zone runs.
if Pugh can run left as a OLT, in a zone type play, if you have Marshal slot left (not on every play, don't get your panties in a bunch people) then that's an additional run blocker out there.
bigger guards (and center even maybe) plus 2 blocking tights ends radically changes this offense in a way that may exceed this O of last year, as it was, but with a good OLT.
Now if we let Hankins go, free up cap space by signing JPP to a long term deal and have enough money to sign Jared Cook...then we're cooking with gas.
