Joseph wasn't a 'this for that' move, it was strategic. They had Hankins as next man up and a number of players on offense who needed to be paid (Cruz, Nicks, Eli extension). Can't pay everyone, DRC was more of a consolation prize.

They want Hankins back, but not at $10M+ per year. Still could be back.

I don't see why they would get rid of DRC when they want to keep the defense together and we've seen how valuable he was when wasn't on the field in the playoff game vs the Packers.

are now claiming they are done with the team if he is ever cut. You got to love the BS. So much of it is spewed it is hard to keep up with at times.

He is a free agent.. but I doubt the Giants bring him in.

to see the Giants cut DRC. He was still very good last season, we have literally no other playable CBs on the roster right now, and you need at least CBs anyway (and thats before injuries). They just opened up more room w/JPP's contract, but there's no one out there to really sign with the cap space anyway. And no one to replace DRC

And on top of all that, he has trade value (despite his $7M salary). There are enough teams flush with cap space and hurting at CB that Reese should surely be able to get a day three draft pick for him.

DRC who is coming off a awesome season, was a pro bowler in 2015 to bring back a DT that has regressed since his injury, that would be a epic move smh. DRC>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Hankins

It looked like some kind of contusion injury but they banged knees.

Maybe he tore his ACL, or otherwise damaged the knee, and they just didn't report it? And at 31 are concerned with his recovery? Just speculating.

I'm not saying I would do it, I probably wouldn't unless the coaches felt he couldn't be relied upon to stay healthy. My point was that he has trade value, so there is no way they simply release him.

Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday late morning because the

Of DRC would be mind boggling. This defense needs to be kept together. We all saw what happened as the Packer game went on without him. Vikings MNF game another example.
