If JPPs contract numbers are what they are rumored to be, the Giants don't "need" to do anything with DRC...

But, if the Giants are trying to clear a little more room to lock up Hankins, then maybe there is fire to this very sparse smoke.

DRC is a big piece of the D and you hope they didn't decide to part ways to find money to pay JPP. That said, this draft does have a bunch of really good DBs. The Giants could probably find a good 3rd CB in the first few rounds of this draft. Let's hope DRC restructured...

Cutting DRC turns CB into an area of concern.

The guy single handedly won a few games last year. Detroit at home and Washington away immediately come to mind. Not to mention that his injury in the playoff game at Green Bay changed everything.

Guy was All Pro last year. 3 quality CB's are a must. I can't imagine them dumping him with almost nothing behind him in the pipeline.
