"monster movie." Tom Hiddlestion, Brie Larson, and especially John C. Reilly were all really good which definitely elevated the movie overall. Usually in these types of movies it is hard to give a shit about any of the scenes where the monster isn't on screen, but the cast in this film at least kept the human parts interesting.
If you liked Jurassic World, Pacific Rim, etc. you will like this.
