My Zags had the same damn issue they've had several times this year in which they've let teams back into the game despite large second half leads (Arizona, Iowa State, even in the 1 game they lost they had a double digit 2nd half lead). Guys who really should know better at this point made ridiculous unforced errors in the second half. They obviously got lucky with the goal-tending play. The only defense I have of the officials is I (and a lot of other people watching and at the game) didn't even notice it... it happened that fast. I'm just happy to advance. I don't really give a shit if it looks good or not.

I agree. However, I'm sure there are some people like Dan Dakich around the program, who made one of the most asinine comments I've ever heard this morning. These idiots would rather have "Knight guys" than the best coach available.
Also, why would Alford leave UCLA when he knows he is getting the other two Ball brothers (unless he is sick of their dad and wants to get out of there, back to his alma mater)

Agree. I would not leave UCLA for Indiana for any reason but that just pretty much cements it.

Virginia isn't going to do better than Bennett, but I also think they have hit their ceiling under him. Maybe this is their ceiling as a program, not just under him. Sweet 16's, 2nd round, the once in every great while Elite Eight.
I don't believe without superior athletes that you can win 4 let alone 6 games in a row in the NCAA tournament playing the style he wants to play. The pace is just way too slow.
They should have no impact on whether or not Alford leaves UCLA.

At least you waited a day to start up again, but I'm guessing it has less to do with baseball clinics and more to do with finally waking up in that pool of vomit and feces after your team got curb stomped. Thankfully you'll likely be passed out again in another hour or so

They're not the issue, the father is the issue. Lavar has Alford by the short hairs because Lonzo pretty much saved Alford's job (remember Alford's seat was really warm, to say the least, and he has not had a highly successful career as a HC going back to Iowa)
