Do you think, he's going to be the front runner for the Will spot in camp or atleast given a chance to win the Will spot?? Has to be some reason why we haven't brought Robinson back in the fold yet...He shouldn't be that expensive.
I don't think that Pinkins has a chance at first on the depth chart
BTW, has anyone noticed how thin they are at safety? If Landon Collins goes down with an injury, they'd be in a world of hurt. Everyone else at safety is either unknown quantity, injury-prone, or not very good.
Ishaq Williams will be one of the more interesting players in training camp. The fact that he didn't play in a game since 2013 and still ended up on the active roster last year was a very big surprise. He has a lot of athletic ability and hopefully he will put it all together and become a player at LB.
But unless the Giants keep five Safeties or they get decimated, again, at that position, I don't see Pinkins making the final 53 let alone starting anywhere on the defense.
As for Ishaq Williams, right now he's the backup SAM. Kennard is hardly a model of durability so that's a pretty good place to be for Williams. At 6-4, 253, he could conceivably get some snaps at DE depending on how he progresses and how the roster shakes out over the summer. In no way, shape or form is he a WILL.

My bad. You are absolutely right about Ishaq being the SAM
Has been hurt and playing several different positions due to his physical skills he needs to learn and produce when given a chance to play. I don't think he lacks for anything physically to play either OLB or safety just not sure what position he will be playing going into camp.

Herzlich is still unsigned I believe.
He's an interesting developmental guy though. 6'3'' and pretty fast. We'll see if he makes the roster...
