Earlier today a Poster, who has since been suspended, posted some personal information about another Poster in the form of an internet news report from a few years ago. As far as BBI is concerned this is a violation of policy as well as the site’s posted terms of usage.
We have received several inquiries about this matter and wish to inform our users about our Policy in these matters.
We manage a football discussion site for NY Giants fans. We are not responsible for what posters do outside of this discussion site, and we advise our readers that this is especially true of reports based on very limited information.
We can’t, and don't, take a position one way or the other regarding these matters, or any poster’s personal life for that matter, and we cannot be responsible for policing or passing judgment on any posters' activities outside of our site, or encourage a rush to judge same.
We cannot, and will not, condone witch hunts, cyber-stalking or potentially libelous or slanderous statements to be conducted on our web-site. Any posts on our website that we discover that might do this will be deleted and shall be immediate grounds for suspension.
Any complaints about a Poster on BBI should be raised by contacting management. No poster should take these matters in their own hands, in, or on, a thread here. We take a dim view of any, and all, personal accusations or attacks, and any post we deem to be such are grounds for suspension.
You may attack, argue about, or criticize any post, but not the poster, and provided you adhere to BBI’s Terms of Use and Code of Conduct, all of which you agreed to upon signing up to post here, and also which is posted as such on this website in order to continue to give you notice of same.
