I remember late in 2014 season Brandt was saying hang in there to a Giants fan who called in. He insisted the Giants were close to being a very good team with staying power. Brandt is a little wacky but he's literally forgotten more football than anyone else might know.

Plus, the NYG TEs were the biggest failure last year. They were awful. They just signed one of the best blocking TEs going. That will help the OL. TEs do play on the OL you know.

It's ok that give an opinion. Saying you don't love S it's is OK. I would t want him to start for sure. But when the signing was announced some people went ape shit. I asked on a few threads. Who is out there for about the 2 million(unguaranteed at that) that is better?

I think if he can reduce some of his bad decisions on the field, he can be a good QB. My sense from watching him play on the Jets is that he tried to do more than he should. I think coaching him to play a bit more conservatively will help.
I listen to his show all the time, he never talks down about a move or a player. He will talk up guys he doesn't like, however he'll say any move is a good move. I think he is about 10 years past retirement.

Agreed 100%. Like Brandt, but sometimes it does seem like he's lost quite a bit off the fastball.
And even with Brandt liking the move, I still can't see the upside in signing Geno Smith. Doesn't make me right or him and Reese wrong, I just don't like it. Hopefully I'm proven wrong.
