Giants schedule visit with Lamar RB Kade Harrington

YANKEE28 : 3/22/2017 1:28 pm
this is per Aaron Wilson.

There are 15 Pro Days tomorrow (Thursday) including at Lamar, and teams can't be everywhere.
Harrington was
YANKEE28 : 3/22/2017 1:37 pm : link
Player of the Year in his conference. He is a smaller back (listed at 5'8" and 190 pounds) who can fly.

Teams will get his official size weight and 40 time tomorrow, but he is expected to run in the 4.4s.
I don't know anything about

this player, but his stats read like a video game. Take a look at last year:

2092 yards rushing last year
213 total yards per game
21 rushing touchdowns
Averaged 7.86 yard per carry
Rushed for 347 yards in a single game vs Abilene Christian

He looks to be built like a fire-hydrant and definitely has some scoot. Looks almost like a Ray Rice type who can also be helpful in the pass game. Definitely does not shy away from contact and looks to get upfield rather than bouncing it outside.

Reminds me of

Ross Scheuerman of Lafayette coming out a few years back with that speed.
Thanks for this.

Watching him is a lot of fun. He's built a little like a slightly taller Charlie Toaler.

Sad thing is he isn't going to look the same in the NFL as in that small school. Still, there's enough there to take a look. Very good vision, good burst, no wasted motion.
Garrett Wolfe redux?

.
Sort of surprised he has very little punt or KR

experience.
(Too valuable as a RB to be exposed on returns? The Jason Sehorn syndrome? Or just too tired with all those carries?)
Makes sense if he was the only one they liked from Lamar

And it also allows them to see him up against better competition than he will get at his Pro Day
Pretty sure

Perkins will take of the "scoot". We need a bruiser. Love to grab Foreman or Conner.
Kade is legit

I know a guy who used to do strength training with him. It's weird to say,but he's a big 5'8" RB. He's listed at 195 but plays at around 205 and plays like he's 225. He's built like a brick shit house yet runs about a 4.45 40. Even though he's small height-wise, he'd be a good compliment to Perkins and Vereen. His running style is like a 225 lb back and his strength for his size is off the charts.
kid seems

to be fit to run out of the gun, something i dont think darkwa is built to do....i htink the giants need more of a bruising rb but im ok with drafting this kid in the mid to late rounds.
Harrington.

Nice young RB. Watched some more video of him, and he can catch too. But I think he's smaller than the advertised 5'9". My guess is 5'8", or less.
