is a guy who has risen like Webb. Might be taken in the second round. Have read that some think he is similar to Cousins. Played in a pro style offense.
Bisnowaty is a big, punishing dude. i like that style. former wrestler, likes to mix it up. enormous hands. his pass blocking is unrefined coming from Pitt but it doesn't mean he can't learn it
i think he could possibly start at RT for us as a rookie and at worst looks like a backup LT/LG/RG/RT.
Beyond last years draft, hve a lot of explaining to do for the past 5 years of drafting.
It's easy to over pay for top talent, much harder to draft top talent.
Wouldn't be surprised if this is the year we draft Eli's heir apparent
Between this visit and UNC's maybe the org sees the best value in round 1 in selecting a QB to groom behind Eli for a few years. OT could be a reach, the TEs they covet may not be available, DEs (after the first few) could be a reach at 23 etc. At thetwo positions that are considered among the deepest, WR and CB, the Giants are already well positioned with a trio of solid starters at each.
Im not saying this is my preference, but it wouldn't shock me.
Dorian Johnson was a big time prospect coming out of high
school, and he does have measurables to play anywhere along the offensive line. But really, any of those four aforementioned players could and should be on their radar, especially with how good that offense looked.
Sources Tell Us "I like him. He made me a believer when I watched him against Clemson. I do want to see him throw live and get a feel for how the ball comes out. I never saw him in person and you can't get a feel for that stuff on tape." - NFC Director of Personnel
He's our type of back and would complement Perkins.
Very fine young man who has overcome adversity,
but as running back in the NFL, I really don't want to spend a draft pick on James Conner.
He shows a lot of nice things on the field, including a certain one-step elusiveness and the ability to break tackles and move the pile on contact.
But me no like his overall running style. James Conner may have decent speed -- especially for a guy pushing into the size range of Brandon Jacobs -- but that speed does not occur quickly!!! He's a build up sorta speed guy.
But more to the point, he stands WAY too straight up when he takes a hand-off and he gets to the line of scrimmage in lumbering fashion.
IMHO, Marc Ross is one of the least likeable people in the Giants organization.
I saw that show, don't recall anything about his demeanor specifically that would make him unlikeable. Seemed like a dork, and was trying to project some confidence (which you'd expect if you're trying to pitch an idea to your superiors).
Ouch. Pretty much confirms what I see when I watch him run and why I'm not as big on him as others. I know that's not his game, and workout numbers aren't everything, but that's a pretty bad number for a running back.
Giants draft picks have usually done well in the 3-cone
QB Nathan Peterman
Are big names they might be looking at.
Any else?
Oh yeah. Right.

Thanks for your input.
Connor/Perkins 2017!

I know, I know ... and I'm sorry.
Peterman transferred from Tennessee, where he struggled a bit early in his college career.

Would be a nice Free Agent pick-up.
