underrated player of his generation due to lacking team success.
I dont know about that. He gets a lot of fellation from fans and the media. Not to mention he's been injury prone most of his career (failed to play 70+ games in half his NBA seasons)

He does deserve scrutiny for his playoff success (or lack thereof), but he's so fundamentally sounds it's not funny. He's been the best PG defender for maybe a decade now. Probably the best passer too. He never turns over the ball. He sure can shoot. He has no flaws really except being 5'11".
If you're teaching a kid to follow a player and emulate his skills it's CP3.
He doesn't have the bling of a Jason Kidd but he's on that level as a player.
Very good but he can't carry a team. Not an elite guy. He's tough. He can hit that mid range shot. But people have talked about him as a top 10 player. I don't see it.
I thought his play hurt the team in the meltdown vs Houston 2 years ago. That clipper team had a shot at the title. Paul trying to take over didn't help.

He's been a superstar since '08 when he finished runner-up in the MVP. This current season is roughly the 10th best season of his career. He's no longer the MVP candidate player he used to be because he can't play at that level long enough, but he's one of the best PGs ever and still probably a top 10 player in this league.
Soi, he wasn't a top 10 player 3 years ago. He's the guy who couldn't get them over the jump in LA. He had everything he needed and couldn't win.
Vs HOU, Griffin was unstoppable. He was beating the shit out of them in the box but Paul wouldn't get him the ball. Griffin was the best player but it seemed Paul wanted to be the guy instead of getting the ball in the nets spot to score. He wasn't the guy and that's the reason they lost.
