This summer looks like a good chance to see some of Europe's best at venues across the US for the International Champions Cup:

thing with these exhibitions is that, like the NBA during the regular season, fans will have no idea who will be on the pitch and who are listed subs

When I saw Manchester United/Juventus years ago at Giants Stadium, I saw everyone even for a half - Van Nistelrooy, Giggs, Scholes, Ferdinand, Del Piero, Davids, etc.

The best thing about these games is seeing the young players

I attended Red Bulls-Barcelona at Giants Stadium in August 2006. Ronaldinho was the headliner but it was cool getting to watch Xavi, Iniesta, and Messi in person before they achieved their peaks.

consider yourself lucky! Nor am I saying the "name" starters are the only reason to want to see these Clubs because their normally listed subs and first-up development players are better than 85% of those we watch domestically from the stadium seats. Simply saying you won't know until you're in the parking lot and the lineups are announced.

I can't recall a longer list of exhibitions with this caliber of Clubs scheduled to play Stateside. (How many will be denied visas?)
