I really liked him for rd 2 prior to getting hurt. I would love him rd3 if we don't go TE in rd 1 or 2. He could be back as early as July or as late as Early October.
His injury was no where as bad as Jaylon Smiths was last year. Zero nerve damage. He would be a great asset and worth an investment.

I would love this kid on the Giants.
Pass, except for very late round.
He's also a traditional in-line TE. Not an H-Back. Not a fullback. Not a move TE. Not an overgrown WR. He's not a converted QB.
So while he's not a strong blocker, he can get there with coaching. I really like his game. The only question is the knee.
You don't think he's a round 4 guy? That's where I have him pegged, maybe back end of round 3. Yes, pun intended.
Or in between King and Hunter.
But in all seriousness, there are enough TEs in this draft that taking a TE with his injury history and lack of stoutness at the POA is not my preference. Give me someone who can play this year.
Same knee, one on each knee?
I don't feel like looking it up, LOL.
Hey, if he is around in the 5th, I say why not?
You draft for the future, more than 2017 in this case.
Unless you are getting a great or transcendental player,
those are few and far between, you draft for the future.
You have one on this team.
Sy likes big Butt and he cannot lie.

Honestly, he wouldn't be on my board.

Same knee. I'd pass.

Tavarres King or Michael Hunter on the sideline.

I'm really partial to Butt

Comment deleted for premature submission.
P.S. How many 280LB/6'6" TE's can run a 4.79 40, and is tied at 1st with 24 on the bench with (1) other TE.
