I really want to see it with Fox. I don't have any personal vendetta against him. The physical tools are intriguing in its own right.

What scares me on offense is not only his range, but he also seems really passive in the halfcourt to me. Yes I watched the game. Yes, I know he scored 39.

He had a few nice pull up jumpers and the touch on his floaters will get him some easy buckets too.

He's also going to get buckets in transition. To me he looked hesitant in the halfcourt when he's not operating with picks. I'll be honest, I don't know how much to separate from what Cal was running and how much was fox's hesitancy. But he never seemed intent on going inside the 3 point line without getting a pick. If a help defender on the perimeter came over he'd pass it up and get an easy assist.

Also, lonzo ball was shading him at the 3 point arc.

Holiday was mirroring him 3 feet deep in the second half. This is simply not going to happen in the NBA.

He doesn't seem like an advanced passer at all IMO. He'll make the obvious pass when he breaks past the first defender and a help defender rotates over. Sound familiar? He reminds me a lot of 2017 Derrick Rose offensively.

I really want to see it, I'm still finding it hard to sell myself on it top 5-6.

i think thats why he looked a little hesitant at times

Rose offensively and a look down defender on D? Cause he is that good guarding the ball. I'll take it.

He's had issues this season, but from a physical standpoint he should be a good defender.

That's a tough call. If rose was a good defender is he a top level PG? I'd think probably.

He seems like a smart kid, good competitor, which wouldn't be a bad bet.

But is he going to be Ricky Rubio or John wall? I trust Rubio/wall more as crafty passers to make the most of their situations (not being able to shoot well) then what I've seen from fox

i think fox and smith have the lowest floors but their potential is very high, alot more risk with these two...

i think smith a little less risk because he is a good shooter..

I think he will be a scorer but not necessarily a great PG.

Also, before Ball becomes the "next Jason Kidd," he has some work to do on defense. He was Fox's bitch all night long.

I believe it starts the first game he is listed as healthy and eligible to play. Since he's out for the rest of the season...it wouldn't start until next.

At the end of the day, he's still a freshman. For all the hype surrounding Wiggins, he was extremely passive in college, didn't seem to want to be the alpha dog and looked to others in big moments.

Again, buying/selling players based off tournament play alone is an egregious mistake.

Let's not forget that this was a home game for Kentucky.

and wiggins still hasnt shown he can be a top dog..

Apparently his Mom is seriously ill and was in rough enough shape that his Dad couldn't even attend the game last night. Might have played a factor with his play.

KP has four fouls already. Gasol torching Billy. Hopefully the tank has enough fuel to get through another 10 games.

Quite a few are at home, but hopefully that won't matter. Shut Melo down please. We don't need a random 30-point game down the stretch to beat Chicago or Detroit or something.

In terms of potential non-surprise wins:

76'ers have x2 against the Nets + Knicks (final game)

Magic have x2 against the Nets

Kings have Phoenix, Lakers, and Mavericks

Knicks have 8 straight games against either playoff teams, or fighting for the 8th seed (Pistons/Bulls/Heat), finishing with the 76'ers

I know there is a lot of hate around here for Rose/ Melo, I actually think with one of them playing we are a better team than both. Our D is better, and one player can free lance as the focal point on offense. If our pick is Tatum/Fox would determine who I would keep. I might be in the minority as most want them both gone.

I think it has just gotten to the point that just blowing it up is the best option

keeping rose and getting rid of melo wouldnt be the worse thing if knicks didnt draft a point guard..

has shown 0 indication that he cares about anything but himself. He didn't go out of his way to work with/help the kids this year, no reason to believe next season will be different. Sergio Rodriguez is nothing special but he played with Willy and I suspect he would be far better for their development. Further, he's not going to win games by himself (Rose potentially could). It's time to move on. KP may not be ready to be some vocal leader or even "the guy" but time to remove artificial barriers toward his development. Maybe he needed Melo as a rookie. He no longer does.

think Sergio Rodriguez also makes sense as a mentor as he's a high iq "true" PG. Lets face it, even if we draft a PG high the rookie PG isn't playing 35 minutes per night. Every single one of the top pick PG's would likely profit from having a solid vet with them.

If this is how he played defense and conducted himself while trying to get a new big contract, I'd hate to see how hard he tries when his money is locked up. Buyer beware.

Not a single good team was interested OR he's going to the highest bidder aka the Knicks valued him over the rest of the league. Either outcome = stay away.
