NFT: Atlanta Braves are banning outside food

Here's the link:

The Braves are banning outside food. And they’re probably lying about why they’re doing it.

Wow, the Braves have home field fans! Who knew?

Interestingly, they mention the Eagles as a team that tried this, and had the fans revolt in 2003. Also that you could bring food into Yankee stadium, among other teams (to some extent). Nice to see someone calling the Braves out though.

when someone uses terrorism/security as a phony excuse for jacking prices

how fucking disrespectful to all those who have died

not surprising that it would come from a POS organization like Atlanta

Just dumb

Most stadiums have great food selections. That's not the issue. The insane price is the issue.

There's also those people with dangerous food allergies who'd rather not take their chances.
Citifield brings up a good question

How are their selections/prices compared to Yankee Stadium?
the abusive food & drink prices

Always feels like a slap in the face to me when I see the prices. Like the owners feel if I'm stupid enough to pay the ticket price I can probably be robbed completely blind while I'm there.
Maybe petty and resentful on my part but there it is.

I've only been to CitiField once, but the prices seemed about the same, it was the selection/quality of the individual vendors that was better.

Yankee Stadium has very uninspired and mediocre selections, but, of course, at ridiculously insulting prices.
