Paul McCartney album from late 80's pretty unremarkable album
but with rerelease is 9 demos that elvis costello and mccartney did together of songs they co wrote at the time
they are amazing why in the world didn't they just release these at the time
and it was/is pretty good. if you're a post-beatle mccartney hater it won't sway you, but it's really good if you like him
and yes, the elvis stuff is great
i think his first few albums are great
including red rose speedway
but listening to the elvis demos and final tracks
the demos are fantastic the final tracks of same songs are bland and boring
you see that he was motivated to have radio hits that making compelling music
Flowers In the Dirt has some great songs and in a way was reminiscent of old McCartney.
