NGT: Seattle backup QB Trevone Boykin arrested

for dui and crashing his car into a bar that injured 5 people. He also had drugs on him. This occurred in Dallas.

I'd ask if we should kick the tires but I am guessing they are already flat r the accident.

He wasn't driving, his girlfriend was

So he was only charged with public intoxication I believe (unless there is a drug charge if he had something on him). He went to TCU so he from around the Dallas area.

Didn't know you could be arrested for Public Intoxication

So you're at a party, realize you've had too much and ask someone sober to drive you home - seems like a responsible thing to do. That person gets stopped for speeding and you're liable for a PI arrest?

How does he get a public intox when someone else was driving? If not for drugs being found on him this is a non-story.

the slow time of the offseason, with these monsters roaming the countryside...but it seems like there haven't been nearly as many bad incidents, at least not compared to previous years in the recent past...players (with help from their teams) may be getting better at staying out of trouble

lol no he got into a bar fight with a cop days before his final bowl game at TCU.
