In 1997 he was falsely accused by a woman named Nina Shahravan, who admitted she lied and was sentenced to 90 days in jail for misdemeanor perjury in connection with the incident. In 2007 he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a hotel room. Prosecutors did not press charges, she sued him in civil court, he countersued for defamation, and those lawsuits resulted in a confidential settlement. |

But if you are a real scheming piece of shit, you could certainly do this:
1) Have consensual sex with Irvin. Save a little baby batter for later.
2) Eat a roofie that you gave yourself. With Irvin's and Sharper's history, it would look really bad in court.
3) Make a claim that you were assaulted. Punch yourself in the face a couple times, scratch Irvin during the consensual sex and now you have DNA x 2.
4) Tear a piece of clothing and voila! It becomes an instant 'add water and mix' civil suit with Irvin likely to go to jail.

That said, it's no more reasonable to assume that she simply got drunk and woke up with a case of buyer's remorse than to start measuring him for a jumpsuit.
And a test kit can establish that they had sex, it is unlikely that it would definitively establish that the sex was nonconsensual.
Of course he also could be a 2x assaulter and have other victims who haven't come forward. We don't know. But imagine for a second that he was accused 3x falsely. That's just crazy

Now, I'm not an ex-star athlete, so maybe it doesn't apply, but I've never been accused of rape. Playmaker's got three accusations on his jacket now. Smoke without fire? Possible. Three times?
I think there are plenty of lying women out there who will do or say just about anything to either save their dignity or to extort wealthy men.
However, in this case it appears she went straight to the hospital in the morning, so I hope that the evidence collected is conclusive in determining what really happened, either to exonerate or to convict Irvin.
When it comes to the rich, successful, don't even have to be good looking but sometimes are, I will never understand why they would ever do something like this, not like it is EVER excusable... but look at Darren Sharper... rich, successful, good-looking guy... could've had threesomes every night for the rest of his life if that's what he wanted, with willing partners. Why would you screw your life up over some ass when you don't even have to try hard to get any?

I don't know what he did or didn't do. What I believe is that he's a sick fucker who riles easily..I mean he did stab a teammate in the neck with barbershop scissors..So, who knows whether it was consensual or a Cosby..
Whether that describes Irvin or not I haven't the foggiest idea, but Sharper's problems - and Bill Cosby's, and perhaps Roethlisberger's - certainly went way beyond just wanting to have sex.
A Rape kit will only show sex occurred not if she was raped or not. A full SAFE exam will give more of an indication. However, even that exam does not prove anything one way or the other.
I absolutely detest him and his U attitude.
Seeing him removed from all broadcast forums would be a happy day.
