Alright, I finished setting this up sooner than I had expected, so let’s get this thing rolling. And just as a caveat, I will be pretty much completely out of pocket, Mon-Wed this week. So, while we are starting early, the clock won’t officially start until
Monday, April 10th at 9am. . The draft will run from 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday until the start of the NFL Draft (Thursday, April 27th) or the completion of the 6th round. Please remember to use the DISCUSSION thread so we can keep this thread uncluttered.
Once a team is on the clock, they will have two hours to make a selection. If a team goes on the clock after 4pm, their two hour window will roll over to the next day. For example, if you go on the clock at 4:30pm, you will have until 9:30 am to make a selection. Picks may be made between 6pm and 9am if GMs are online and following the draft thread. The time limit only applies during the 9am to 6pm timeframe. If the two hour time limit expires, I will make a pick using any list that the GM for the team has sent me in advance (send lists to the email address in my profile) or in the absence of a list, I will use the
GBN Big Board with a little discretion so as not make an obvious dumb pick (ie: Indianapolis Colts won’t be taking a QB in the 1st round this year). If a GM misses two consecutive picks without providing a prospect list or making some form of contact with me (email or posting on the draft thread) the spot will be reassigned to one of the BBIers who have expressed an interest to fill the vacancy.
Once again, I strongly encourage ALL GMs to utilize the
BBI Mock Draft Spreadsheet . The spreadsheet contains the draft order (RD1-6) by team and GM with a fairly comprehensive list of both available and taken prospects based on the GBN Big Board (as well as several other prospects that did not make the GBN Big Board). I will try to keep the spreadsheet and thread updated as often as possible.

Cleveland (Lionhart28) is on the clock and has until Monday, April 10th at 11am to make a selection.
Myles Garrett, Super-human, Texas A&M
Robert Saleh’s 4-3, Seattle Seahawk-esque defense requires a safety in the middle of the field that can be as versatile as safeties Earl Thomas or Kam Chancellor. The 49ers add that player with the No. 2 overall pick in Jamal Adams. Jamal is fierce leader in the locker room. He’s a force to be reckoned with defending the run and has been solid in pass coverage and John Lynch himself knows how important a defensive leader is for this new defense.
Against TE O.J. Howard, Adams only allowed one catch for minus-three yards. Lined up across TE Evan Engram, Adams only gave up three catches for 15 yards.
Jamal is exactly what the 49ers need at this time of their rebuild.
He’s a great leader in the locker room and can be a catalyst for turning around a defense.
Oh... touché
Tennessee is on the clock
TE O'Terrius Jabari "O.J." Howard, Alabama
DL Solomon Thomas
With the 8th pick in the draft, the Carolina Panthers select John Ross, WR Washington
Jabrill Peppers, SS, Michigan
MIKE WILLIAMS WR Clemson
Buffalo went defense heavy last draft with Lawson, Ragland and Washington. Watkins has had some injury issues and This organization feels that Williams in the best WR in this draft.
Cleveland badly needs a QB but the value just isn't there at this point in the draft. The Browns also had one of the leagues worst pass defenses last year and can't pass on a top 10 talent in Hooker. This guy has the range, instincts and ball skills to be the next Ed Reed.
WR, Corey Davis, Western Michigan
CB Gareon Conley, The Ohio State University
The Indianapolis Colts are on the clock.
DEREK BARNETT/EDGE/TENNESSEE
Washington is now on the clock
Obviously, size is a concern, but only about 8 pounds less than Cook at the combine & a legit triple threat in the run game, pass game, and specials.
--An enormously talented runner who shows patience and balance.
--An enormously polished receiver who looks as good as many guys who make their living in the slot in the NFL.
--An enormously talented returner who could help win games without taking a snap on offense.
He's been moving up the charts, rightly so. Washington has several needs, and a playmaker on offense is certainly one of them.

Who will hopefully be able to thrive in the deep middle when safeties shade to OBJ
OT Cam Robinson from Alabama
If he doesn't have the criminal stuff hanging over his head he is easily a top 15 pick. The guy is the best Run blocker in the draft IMO and is much better at pass protection than people give him credit for. To me though I don't need him to be my starting LT, although I am not sold he couldn't try it out. He is very much like Erik Flowers with a more agressive demeanor. The Raiders OL is amazing, but where they could really use immediate help is at RT. This makes the Raiders OL nearly as dominate if not better than the Cowboys IMO.
PS a ton of Cam Robinson pics and gifs, but I had to go with this one again Wisconsin!
Oakland couldn't go wrong there: Robinson, McDowell, Cunningham, etc.
This was an easy choice. He is the most consistant (atleast for one season) of any of the top 4 QB's.

Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Colorado
Tim Williams OLB Alabama
QB DeShone Kizer Notre Dame
I don't care about the arm strength or measurements. The kid is tough, is a winner and plays his best in big situations. He's also an excellent athlete for the QB position. Gun to my head, I take him over any other QB in this draft. He just has the "it" factor I want in a QB. Shouldn't start from day one but he's got a lot of upside.
