We will use this as a discussion thread to keep the picks thread uncluttered. These threads will be used for the duration of the entire draft and will need to be bumped occasionally to push them back to page 1 of the forum.
Once a team is on the clock, they will have two hours to make a selection. If a team goes on the clock after 4pm, their two hour window will roll over to the next day. For example, if you go on the clock at 4:30pm, you will have until 9:30 am to make a selection. Picks may be made between 6pm and 9am if GMs are online and following the draft thread. The time limit only applies during the 9am to 6pm timeframe. If the two hour time limit expires, I will make a pick using any list that the GM for the team has sent me in advance (send lists to the email address in my profile) or in the absence of a list, I will use the
GBN Big Board with a little discretion so as not make an obvious dumb pick (ie: Indianapolis Colts won’t be taking a QB in the 1st round this year). If a GM misses two consecutive picks without providing a prospect list or making some form of contact with me (email or posting on the draft thread) the spot will be reassigned to one of the BBIers who have expressed an interest to fill the vacancy.
Once again, I strongly encourage ALL GMs to utilize the
BBI Mock Draft Spreadsheet . The spreadsheet contains the draft order (RD1-6) by team and GM with a fairly comprehensive list of both available and taken prospects based on the GBN Big Board (as well as several other prospects that did not make the GBN Big Board). I will try to keep the spreadsheet and thread updated as often as possible.
+1... that is cool

Unfortunately, he didn't send me one... I've been sending emails, but he may have gone to bed...
YES!! Nice way to get in there buddy
Love the Tedric Thompson pick. Thought he was going to be available for my list in the 6th. His pass defense for a Safety is second to none in this draft. Great ball skills and has amazing instincts. He had a QB rating of 21.3 in balls thrown his way to go with 7 picks and a ton of PDs also. He isn't the best tackler because of his size, but he isn't horrible either. At worst I think he makes it as a Nickel safety and a solid backup... that is worst case IMO.

Thanks..i almost picked him with my prior pick in this round, I even emailed it to Matt. I did see he was way down the GBN big board so was thinking about chancing it for my next pick...but losing Jefferson to Baltimore I figured why not
SY's take: "*Saubert may need more time than some of these other prospects in terms of strength and skill development, but his upside rivals everyone above him on this list and I mean that. He can really run and track the ball well. His consistency isn’t there yet as a pass catcher, just dropping too many balls in traffic."

Mike, you know I'm taking #1 on your board right before your pick ;)

With instructions to fire my pick as soon as he sees that I am on the clock. If I am in the middle of packing I don't want to hold things up for you's guys.

I will be happy with any of the 4 players on the list I sent to Matt, so feel free.
Jacksonville (Kevin in CT)
Cleveland (Lionhart28) (from Hous, Chi)
Los Angeles Rams (BigBlueTT)
Los Angeles Chargers (armstead98)
Kevin on the clock
Don't mind the haters. It is useful to find lesser known players who may have been overlooked in Mock Draft.
I'm guessing 1 pick at a time?

Nope. You post who you want. First one to name a player gets him. Most people name all 5 people in one post. Others will try to quickly get a post out with one or two names if they think a player might go quickly and post remainder of their five later
Check again.
I should I have slept in this morning. The commute into work was brutal. Usually takes 45 minutes. Today, 2 hours. Ugh!
