But you've been wrong about Hankins like 50 times already this offseason so I think it's safe to say that wherever you're getting this info from isn't exactly ironclad.

From what I'm reading here, the Giants have a Plan B in the works that has been kept on the backburner in case Hankins doesn't work out. That's entirely plausible and we've seen that from Reese in the past. When the Al Wilson trade fell through, they had Kawika Mitchell signed a couple of days later.
Marks has his own injury history, as does Odrick, and he reportedly wasn't happy with his role reduced to back-up (and let it be known). Still he was popular with the fans and the community, and you can't say the same about Odrick, who's something of an odd duck.

Haha. Fluid has nothing to do with things that he is posting. He has batted .000. His posts are cryptic, vague, and flat out wrong all the time. Other posters on here have been way more specific and have nailed a bunch of offseason moves whether it was the offer to Marshall, the paycuts of Vereen, and Harris, etc. Hitdog posted the info on Marshall and then after that Slade repeated what he wrote. That is the only thing he ever posted that was correct.
If he was truly an insider or had inside information then what side is he on? The Giants? An agents? A players? If he was on the Giants side then how would ge know if Hankins was going to sign because he posted that awhile back? If Hankins was going to sign then why wasn't it done?
We all appreciate any info even if it turns out not to work out. We don't appreciate info when the poster is habitually wrong.
