There's a hell of a difference between what most folks make and what a pro football player makes. If I could choose to earn millions a year up until I was 32, I'd take that option any day.
the guy at all if he feels he is worth more than the Giants are willing to pay him, and someone else offers him something closer to what he feels he deserves. It's called free agency. Players are only willing to leave so much money on the table when it comes to giving a hometown discount. It's gotta be close.
