Granderson scratched last minute for Conforto. No word why yet.
LGM!!
+1
Mets lead the Phillies, 5-0, thru 5 tonight. Over their last 10 games vs the Phillies, the Mets have scored 74 runs. Seems like a lot.
Since the start of the 2015 season, the Mets have a plus-115 run differential -- just against the Phillies.
Glad to hear Wheels looks good - I've obviously been a little more focused on NYR tonight so I've barely seen the Metsies.
Love Conforto leading off
Sprinkle a little upside like Smoker in the backend and we are going to be gravy.
Hell, as annoying as Robles is and how he can self-destruct at times he was still a top 50 reliever in baseball last year in terms of fWAR. And he's like our 5th/6th option.
Yup. Walker could probably use a day too. Insert Wilmer at 3B and Give TJ a start at 2B.
Conforto CF
Cabrera SS
Cespedes LF
Flores 3B
Duda 1B
TDA C
Bruce RF
TJ Rivera 2B
They only have to face Gsellman, Syndergaard, deGrom, and Harvey. :)
Agree. Especially if Lagares is due back Friday. Collins won't want Grandy sitting 3 days in a row.
There have been some rumblings they may send down a reliever instead.
Sewald might go down first

He might be our second best OF right now. I think if he keeps hitting he stays. Won't be easy for Collins to juggle the OF but that's what he gets paid for.

With the Miami lefties coming up, let Wilmer have a game or two at third.

If that is the line-up you would probably see Bruce batting clean-up and moving Flores, Duda, and TDA down a slot so that in the middle of the order you do not have back to back right handed hitters
Bullpen volatility in the early going as the Mets are the only positive fWAR in the NL east.

The Rockies have some nice arms. Their ERA is always going to be high, but fWAR adjusts for park factor I believe, so it'll reflect the real value that those pitchers provide. NL West looks like the best division in the NL so far.
No more Granderson, Reyes, Bruce, Duda. Cabrera would be retained for one more.
