Slow Thursday, New Mock Draft from USA Today

ZogZerg : 4/13/2017 1:25 pm
Predicting lots of trades.

A couple of interesting things:

1. Howard goes #4 to Jacksonville. I think that would have to be the highest drafted TE ever - right?

2. Browns trade to #5 (ahead of Jets) to grab Trubisky. Rumor was they like him and the consensus overall #1 pick. So, this draft gets them both.

And, they have the Giants grabbing: David Njoku, TE, Miami

Davis was selected 6th overall in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He joined Kellen Winslow Jr. as the fourth highest tight end ever drafted after Ron Kramer, (Green Bay, No. 4 in 1957) Mike Ditka (Chicago, No. 5 in 1961) and Riley Odoms (Denver, No. 5 in 1972).
I like Lamp but I would be shocked if he is the first O-lineman picked

Someone will want one of the LT prospects.

He is, however, the safe pick.
I Like Lamp, Too

He is versatile regardless of which position he ends up playing. Like adding Zach Martin to this OL.
I don't see how any team is trading their first and next year's

and a fourth for Leonard Fournette. People talk about how any RB isn't worth a 1, let alone two 1s and a 4...
That is a crazy mock

Lots of trades. That said, Njoku is my guy. I could live with Cunjingham, Reddick, Davis, Lamp and even Robinson.
