I have an old IMac and backup my music to an external hard drive. I have a ton of music and didn't want to clog up the IMac hard drive. I also keep back up copies of photos but the originals are on the IMac. I used to use this external for Time Machine. About 3 years I bought an AirPlay Time Capsule and use that as a Wifi Extender and use that now as the automatic Time Machine backup,
The original external drive has a file called Backups. backupdb. It's a huge file. Is there any reason why I should not delete it since I've been using the Time Capsule for Time Machine?
